B2B Orders overview

B2B Orders overview

A B2B order is an e-commerce transaction between two businesses. These orders are usually for quantities larger than B2C orders and are typically shipped to retailers, wholesalers, and commercial establishments.

A B2B order is created when you want to:

  • Send inventory to a retailer, wholesaler, distributor, or other commercial places of business.

  • Transfer stock to different location.

  • Recall your sellable inventory from Eshopbox fulfilment centers back at your own fulfilment location.

  • Pack inventory in multiple boxes and require a packing slip and box label to be provided with each box

  • Pick items of an order using multiple picklists

Eshopbox allows you to create and manage B2B orders with ease from your workspace. Learn here how to create a B2B order.

Once a B2B order is created you can track it using the following information.

  • Fulfilment Location: The location from where you want to fulfil the B2B order

  • To location: The location to which you want to send the B2B order

  • Order details: Details related to the B2B order such as order ID and order date

  • Status: Status of the B2B order

  • Ordered quantity: Quantity for which you have created a B2B order.

  • In-process quantity: Quantity that has been confirmed and processed by the fulfilment center.

  • Shipped quantity: Quantity that has been shipped out to the selected location.

Before creating a B2B order, we recommend you to verify the available inventory. Eshopbox allows you to create a B2B order even if the inventory is inadequate.

The inventory allocation takes place after the confirmation of the B2B order. The available quantity will be processed, while any unavailable quantity will be canceled.

Note: You can create a single B2B order for a maximum of 3000 quantities only.
