Tracking On time RTS rate with Eshopbox

The on-time ready-to-ship rate refers to the percentage of orders where the ready-to-ship (RTS) is attempted within the expected RTS date.

The On-time RTS rate dashboard provides you with the following insights:

  • Orders that are Ready to ship on time, RTS breached and overdue.

  • On-time RTS rate based on the sales channel and location

Steps to check the On-time RTS rate report

From the header, navigate to Reports > On-time Ready To Ship. You will be redirected to the On-time Ready To Ship dashboard.

On the top pane, you can find the following filters

  • Duration: It is the time period for which you want to calculate the on-time RTS rate.

  • Sales channel: It is the channel for which you want to calculate the On-time RTS rate.

  • Origin: It is the location from where the orders are dispatched. This displays the list of origin locations.

Detail oriented reports

  • How many orders have experienced transit exceptions over time?

    In this report, you can analyse the following:

    • On-time ready-to-ship (RTS) rate: It tells you about the success rate of attempting orders ready to ship within the expected RTS date. To calculate this data, your on-time orders get divided by the total no. of orders.

    • Late RTS: Orders for which the first RTS attempt has been made after the estimated RTS date.

    • Overdue: Orders that are due for the first RTS attempt, even after passing the estimated RTS date.

    • Exception: Orders that faced exceptions and were excluded from the on-time RTS rate.

A summary of the data is also available along with the report for the orders which were ready for shipping on time, orders which are still due past the expected date, and orders that may require your attention.

  • What are various exceptions?

    There can be various reasons for an order breaching the on-time RTS expected date.

    • Unfulfillable: Eshopbox checks and blocks the inventory for the created order. If the inventory to fulfil the order is unavailable, Eshopbox updates the order status to unfulfillable. Learn here how to manage unfulfillable orders.

    • Failed to RTS: Eshopbox fetches the invoice and shipping label for orders during the packing to mark them as ‘ready to ship’. However, errors can occur while generating the labels, which can result in the order being marked as Failed to RTS (Ready to Ship) on your workspace. Learn here how to manage failed to RTS orders.

    • Higher than daily pick capacity: Your daily pick capacity is the minimum daily pick as per the plan you have opted for or the historical average of daily pick volume of your account, whichever is higher. The orders may breach their expected RTS date if the daily pick capacity exceeds. Learn here more about the daily pick capacity.

  • What are the reasons for failing to RTS?

    To address the failed to RTS orders, it is important to understand the reason behind the failure. There can be various reasons for an order to be marked as Failed to RTS.

Exporting the On-time RTS report

You can also export this report after applying the necessary filters for analysis. To do so, you need to click on Export.

A pop-up will appear on your screen. Click on Export.
