You can use Eshopbox to sell your products on different online sales channels like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Shopify, and more. Making your products available to the sales channel from the Eshopbox workspace enables your customers to purchase your products.

Using Eshopbox, you can use the same inventory across multiple sales channels. The product availability feature allows you to control which channels your products appear. Whenever there is a change in inventory levels for a product in Eshopbox, it is updated across all the sales channels.

Before you start

Make sure you have completed the following tasks to ensure your customers can purchase your products:

  • You have created your products in Eshopbox

  • You have created your product listings on the sales channel

  • You have made the product available to the sales channel

In this article, you will learn

  • How to troubleshoot product availability on sales channels\

  • When should you escalate the issue to Eshopbox support

Sometimes, you will see that your customers can still not see your products despite diligently completing the tasks mentioned above. In such cases, search the product for which you wish to troubleshoot product availability on the Eshopbox workspace and follow the below steps:

Step 1: Check if Inventory is available in the fulfilment centre configured with the sales channel.

When you set up a sales channel in Eshopbox, you need to configure Eshopbox fulfilment locations that you will use to fulfil orders. For your products to be available to purchase, you need to make sure:

  • Eshopbox fulfilment locations have been configured on your sales channel seller account

  • Sellable inventory is available in the fulfilment centre configured with the sales channel

  • You have enabled the fulfilment centre configured with the sales channel

To check if the inventory is available, you need to navigate to 'Stock'. Then, you will see the inventory of that product across Eshopbox locations, as shown below.

You need to ensure that sellable inventory is available in the fulfilment centre that you have configured with the sales channel.

Let's say you have configured Eshopbox Mumbai FC as a fulfilment location on your Amazon seller account. First, you need to make sure you have sellable Inventory in Eshopbox Mumbai FC.

If the inventory is unavailable, you need to supply inventory to the fulfilment centre configured with the sales channel. If the inventory is available, you can move to the next step.

Step 2: Check if there are any errors in updating inventory.

When you make your products available to the sales channel from the Eshopbox workspace, Eshopbox pushes inventory updates to the sales channels. Each inventory update driven by Eshopbox is recorded and accessed by viewing the inventory logs.

You need to check if inventory has been successfully updated on the sales channel from the Eshopbox workspace by following the below instructions:

  • Navigate to the 'Availability' tab for the product you wish to check inventory update errors. Here, you will see all inventory updates for that product across sales channels. Next, view inventory logs for that product; inventory logs are represented by a 'clock' icon as shown below:

  • If an inventory update is successful, you will see the last inventory update quantity made to the sales channel.

  • If an inventory update fails, you need to download the API response request and take appropriate action.

You can also use the 'Need attention' widget on the Eshopbox workspace to track and manage failed inventory updates on sales channels.

If the inventory is has been updated successfully from Eshopbox and your product is still not visible on the sales channel, you can move to the next step.

Step 3: Check if Inventory is visible by logging into your seller account on the sales channel.

When Eshopbox makes an inventory update, the same should reflect in your sales channel seller account. If the updated inventory is visible in the sales channel seller account, then the inventory update is successful.

Sometimes, your customers will not purchase your products despite inventory in your sales channel seller account. For example, customers cannot buy your products because the sales channels make your listings inactive, suppressed, or archived if they do not meet specific listing standards.

For example, Amazon will suppress your listings if you don't provide a valid product

information.

You need to check whether the inventory is visible on your seller account.

Let's say you are selling on Amazon; you will need to log into Amazon Seller Central and check whether inventory is available for your product listings. Similarly, if you were selling on Flipkart or Myntra, you would have to log into the Flipkart Seller Hub or the Myntra Partner Portal to access this information.

If the inventory is visible in sales channel admin, however product is still not visible to customers; you need to contact the sales channel support team.

Note: If Eshopbox is the seller of record on the sales channel, you need to escalate this to Eshopbox support.

If inventory update is only visible in Eshopbox and not on the sales channel admin, escalate this to Eshopbox support.
