Once shipments are packed, you need to create a manifest. Manifest is a document that acts as proof of handing over the shipments to the courier partner. It contains information such as manifest ID, courier partner details, and tracking IDs for shipments being handed over. Manifest is created specific to a sales channel, courier partner and handover date.
Eshopbox allows you multiple ways to manifest orders, depending on the manifest method selected in the self fulfilment settings. The available manifesting methods are:
Bulk Manifest: This method allows you to create manifests for multiple shipments at once without the need for scanning each shipment. To do so, simply select the shipments in bulk and create the manifest.
Scan and Manifest: This method allows you to scan each shipment to create the manifest. This ensures that the shipments are accurately added to their respective manifest. Learn here how to manifest orders with scan based method.
Before you start, make sure:
All the shipments are packed.
Shipments are segregated as per sales channel and courier partner.
