Once you have created the manifest, the shipments are ready for handover. You need to mark the handover for the manifest when the shipments are physically handed over to the courier partner. Handover is the last step of order processing.
Before you start, make sure:
Manifest is created for the shipments.
Printed manifest copy and shipments in that manifest are handy with you.

You need to follow the below-given steps to handover orders:
Step 1: Login into your Eshopbox workspace.
Step 2: From the header, navigate to Orders > Process Order.
Step 4: You will be redirected to the Manifests page. Click on Pending to handover tab. You will get the list of all manifests that are pending for handover.
Step 5: Search the manifest using the manifest ID available on the printed manifest and click on Handover.
Note: You need to select Manifest ID from the dropdown if you want to search the order using the reference ID as manifest ID.
If you have any shipment in the manifest that you don't need to hand over right now, you can sideline it. Learn here how to sideline the shipment during handover.
Step 6: You will be redirected to the Handover page. Click on Next to complete the handover.
Step 7: You will be redirected to the Manifests page. All shipments in the manifest, except for sidelined ones, will be marked as Dispatched.
Once the handover is complete, you need the courier partner's signature on the printed manifest and upload it. Uploading the signed copy of the manifest acts as proof of handover.
To upload the manifest, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: On the Manifests page, click on Dispatched view. You will get the list of all manifests that are handed over.
Step 2: Search the manifest using the manifest ID available on the printed manifest and click on upload manifest.
Step 3: You will be redirected to the Upload Manifest page. Upload the Proof of handover and click on Submit.
Sometimes, there may be instances when the courier partner refuses to accept a specific shipment from the manifest or you don't want to hand over a specific shipment to the courier partner. In such cases, you can choose to sideline the shipment during the handover process.
To sideline the shipment, you need to follow the below given steps:
You will be redirected to the Add Item page.
Step 1: Click on Add.
Step 2: Scan the Tracking ID of the shipment that you want to sideline and click on Next.
Step 3: In case you need to keep proof of the courier partner not accepting the shipment, you can upload any proof for refusal as well such as the image of the device of the courier partner showing an error. You can also skip this step and click on Submit. Once all the tracking IDs of sidelined shipments are scanned. Click on Complete.
The sidelined shipments will be marked as Failed to handover and all the other shipments in the manifest will be marked as Dispatched.
You will be redirected to the Shipments page from where you need to manifest the shipments marked as failed to handover. Learn how to manifest in bulk.
