Troubleshooting Shopify orders

Troubleshooting Shopify orders

Your Shopify account will be seamlessly connected to your Eshopbox workspace so that you don't have to log in to multiple panels for day-to-day operations. But there can be certain instances when you need to log in to your workspace to fix the error manually.

In this article, you will learn about the commonly faced Shopify errors and how to troubleshoot them.

There may be certain instances when an order created on Shopify does not appear on the Eshopbox workspace, causing confusion and inconvenience.

Note: There can be a delay of a few minutes for orders to get created on the Eshopbox workspace.

In order to tackle this issue, Eshopbox suggests the following methods:

  1. Check whether the Create New order toggle is turned ON on the Shopify app details page in your Eshopbox workspace.

  2. If you have selected the “Import orders only if it satisfies the following condition” criteria while turning on the Create new orders toggle on the Shopify app detail page then make sure the order which is not created on the Eshopbox workspace meets the set conditions.

  3. Ensure that your Shopify store's time zone is correctly set as the Indian time zone, i.e. (GMT +05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi. Also, make sure that the store currency is in Indian Rupees (INR).

To check this, log in to your Shopify store and go to the Settings page from the sidebar.

  4. Verify whether the shipping address and phone number for the order created on the Shopify store are complete and accurate.

Note: Eshopbox will not be able to fetch orders with incomplete or inaccurate customer details.

  5. Check whether the status of the order on the Shopify store is fulfilled or Unfulfilled. In case the order is marked as fulfilled manually on the Shopify store Eshopbox won’t be able to pull and create such orders.

Eshopbox only creates those orders which are in the unfulfillable status on the Shopify store.

  6. Check whether the product for which the order is created on the Shopify store is created on the Eshopbox workspace or not. Also, make sure the product is made available to Shopify.

To do so, you need to follow the below-given steps:

    1. Step 1: From the header, navigate to Inventory > All products.

    2. Step 2: Search the product using product SKU.

    3. Step 3: Click on the Availability tab and turn the toggle on for the Shopify store.

    4. Step 4: Enter the details and click on Save.

  7. You need to ensure the Shopify settings are configured as follows:

    1. Step 1: On your Shopify store, navigate to Settings.

    2. Step 2: Click on Checkout.

    3. Step 3: Navigate to Order processing > After an order has been paid.

    4. Step 4: Select Don’t fulfill any of the order’s line items automatically if it is not already selected.

In case the order meets all the above criteria, and still is not created on the Eshopbox workspace, then you can reach out to Eshopbox support by raising a ticket. Learn here how to raise a ticket.
