Tracking On-time delivery with Eshopbox shipping

The On-time delivery rate refers to the percentage of orders where the delivery is attempted within the expected delivery date.

The On-time delivery dashboard provides you with the following insights:

  • Delivery performance on the most frequent routes

  • Exceptions that may affect delivery

  • Delivery rate

  • Delivery performance across zones

You can also compare the current delivery performance against the previous months, filter the data using various filters and export the same for further analysis.

Steps to check the On-time delivery report

  • Navigate to Reports from the top bar.

  • Click on On-time delivery from the dropdown.

You will be redirected to the On-time delivery dashboard.

On-time delivery dashboard filters

On the top pane, you can find the following filters

  • Expected delivery date: It is the expected date of delivery for an order calculated by Eshopbox considering various factors.

  • Shipping mode: It is the type of shipping used to deliver an order.

    This filter allows you to select the shipping mode as standard, express, or priority.

  • Zone: It refers to a geographical area to which an order is to be delivered.

    This filter allows you to select the delivery zone as local, zonal, national, metro, or remote.

  • Origin: It is the location from where the orders are dispatched. This displays the list of origin locations.

  • Destination: It is the location to which the orders are delivered. This filter displays the list of delivery locations.

Note: The data on this dashboard is updated after every 30 minutes. There can, however, be slight chances of data mismatch.

Detail oriented reports

  • How is your delivery performance?

    In this report, you can analyze the following:

    • On-time delivery rate: It is the rate of successful on-time order delivery. The data is calculated by dividing the number of on-time orders by the total number of orders placed.

    • Late delivery: The orders for which the first delivery attempt was made after the estimated delivery date.

    • Overdue: The orders that are due for the first delivery attempt and for which the estimated delivery date has passed.

    A summary of the data is also available along with the report for the deliveries made, orders delivered on time, late and overdue.

  • How many orders have been delivered early, late, and on time?

    This report shows the % orders delivered on time, early, and late depending on the set filters.

  • How is delivery performance across zones?

    This report shows the % of orders delivered on time for each shipping zone depending on the set filters.

  • What are the various exceptions?

    This report shows the number of orders that were impacted due to any incident reported by Eshopbox. This can be a natural calamity, festival, strike, riot or any political disturbance. Learn here how to track orders impacted by an incident on your workspace.

  • How is the delivery performance on the most frequent routes?

    This report shows how many orders are placed for a certain route and the time taken to reach them based on their origin and destination locations. You can also group this data based on the state as well as the city.

    Note: The data for the 10 most frequent routes will be visible by default. To view the complete list of routes and the corresponding details, you need to click on View All.

Exporting the On-time delivery report

You can also export this report after applying the necessary filters for analysis. To do so, you need to click on Export.

A pop-up will appear on your screen. Click on Export.
