Shipping integration with Vinculum

You can now seamlessly integrate your Order Management System (OMS) with Eshopbox to leverage its efficient shipping services. This integration will help streamline your shipping process and enhance your overall order fulfilment experience.

Before you start, make sure you have

  • A Vinculum account

  • An active Eshopbox workspace

Steps to integrate Eshopbox shipping with Vinculum

To integrate Eshopbox shipping with Vinculum, you need to follow the below-given steps:

Step 1: Install the Vinculum app

To install the Vinculum app in your Eshopbox workspace, you need to follow the below-given steps:

  • Step 1.1: From the header, navigate to Apps.

  • Step 1.2: You will be redirected to the Apps page. Search for Vinculum.

  • Step 1.3: Click on Vinculum app. You will be redirected to the Apps detail page.

  • Step 1.4: The Client ID, Client secret and Refresh token will be auto-populated.

    You need to enter the refresh token generated here in Step 3.5.

Step 2: Configure shipping mode in Eshopbox

Eshopbox provides you with two shipping modes:

  • Eshopbox Standard: Optimised for cost.

  • Eshopbox Express: Optimised for speed.

Configuring the shipping mode allows you to prioritize the shipping options available to ship an order. You can also use it to split courier allocation based on order value, zone, payment method, location, etc. Learn how to configure shipping mode in Eshopbox.

Note: When requesting a shipping label from Eshopbox, the shipping mode will be assigned for the order based on the configured rules.

Step 3: Connect Eshopbox shipping provider in Vinculum

To connect Eshopbox as a shipping provider in Vinculum, you need to follow the below-given steps:

  • Step 3.1: Log in to Vin e-Retail. Once logged in, navigate to the left-hand side of the screen towards the menu.

  • Step 3.2: Hover over the Master Module and click on Transporter Master under Trading Partners.

  • Step 3.3: In the Transporter Enquiry screen, click on Add New located in the top right corner of the screen. Alternatively, use Alt+F as a shortcut key to add a new transporter.

  • Step 3.4: You will be redirected to the Transporter Create/Edit screen. On the Transporter Create/Edit screen, enter the following details:

This field determines the interval at which an AWB is updated for shipment tracking. If left blank, this field assumes the tracking interval of 6 hours.

TransType

It is used to determine whether the transporter is a 3PL courier or the user's
own fleet. It is a mandatory fleet.This field has no impact on transporter integration.

Refresh Token

This value is received on your Eshopbox workspace in Step 1.4. It is a mandatory field.

Company Name

This is an optional field which the user can use to pass a custom
company name during shipment creation. If this field is left blank, then the pickup
location name of the location registered on eRetail will be passed.
