Reassign courier

There can be instances where a shipment is marked as Ready to Ship, but the courier partner fails to pick up the shipment due to the following reasons:

  • The assigned courier fails to attempt pickup despite having scheduled time slots.

  • The existing courier partner has made multiple unsuccessful pickup attempts.

  • The current courier is no longer able to service the order for any reason.

In such cases, you can reassign the courier for that shipment from your workspace.

Steps to reassign a new courier partner

To reassign a new courier partner, you need to follow the below steps:

  • Step 1: Log in to your Eshopbox workspace.

  • Step 2: From the header, navigate to Orders > All Orders.

  • Step 3: From the top pane, select Pending to handover tab. All pending to handover orders will appear here. Click on Take action > Reassign courier.

  • Step 4: You will be redirected to the Reassign courier page. Select the courier partner to which you want to reassign the shipment.

  • Step 5: To assign the order to the same or a new courier partner, select the required details such as Eshopbox shipping mode, packaging material, weight, dimension and reason for change.

    If you don’t wish to use Eshopbox shipping, you need to assign the courier partner as self, select the reason for the change and enter the following details:

    • Invoice number: The Number mentioned on the invoice.

    • Courier partner: The courier partner assigned to ship the order mentioned on the shipping label.

    • Tracking number: A unique identifier used to track the order mentioned on the shipping label.

  • Step 6: After entering the details for the chosen mode, upload the invoice and shipping label. Make sure you merge them and click on Print label.

Q.1 What happens if I reassign a courier and the pickup is still not done?

If the pickup is still not completed after reassigning a courier, you can reassign a new courier again for the same shipment by following the steps mentioned above.
