Once you have received the return shipments, you need to perform the quality check (QC) for the returned items. This will help you to verify the physical condition of the items received in the return shipments.
Before you start, you need to receive the returns at your fulfilment location.
In this article, you will learn
You need to follow the below-given steps to perform a quality check for the return shipment.
Step 1: Log in to your Eshopbox workspace.
Step 3: You will be redirected to the Return manifests page. From the top pane, click on Perform QC.
Step 4: You will be redirected to the Return shipments page. Navigate to the QC pending view and you will get the list of return shipments pending for quality check.
To perform the quality check for a specific shipment, scan its Reverse tracking ID in the search bar and press enter.
Step 5: Click on Perform QC against the particular return shipment.
Step 6: You will be redirected to the Conduct QC page. Take the shipment package close to the CCTV camera and make sure that the label details are clearly visible in the camera footage.
Once you have shown the shipment package, select Captured and click on OK.
Note: This step is applicable only if you have a CCTV camera installed on the return QC desk. This is required when you need to extract the video footage for investigating any reported cases of mis-shipments or to raise a claim for damaged/incorrect return items received.
Step 7: Now you need to add the items received in the return shipment. To search for the item in the expected returns, click on Add.
Note: If the return is not created in Eshopbox for the particular return tracking ID, you will not get the option to ‘search for the item in expected returns’. In this case, you need to directly move to step 11 and ‘search for the item in all products’. These returns will be added as draft returns in your workspace. Learn here about draft returns.
Step 8: You will be redirected to Add items page. Search the returned item using the SKU, EAN, or any of the scannable identifiers from the product tag. In this case, there can be two scenarios:

Scenario B: The item is not available in expected returns.
In this case, click on Cancel from the top right corner and then click on Complete to proceed to step 9 below.

Here you can add any such returned items that don’t belong to your brand.
Step 14: Confirm if the product tag is available for the unknown item.
