Packing B2B orders

Packing B2B orders

Once the picking of items is completed, you need to start packing the order. Packing refers to the process of:

  • Packing items in a box

  • Printing and pasting the packing slip and box label

Before you start, make sure:

  • The picking is completed for the picklist.

  • The tote with picked items of the particular picklist is handy for you.

In this article, you will learn how to pack B2B orders at your fulfilment location.

Steps to pack items

  • Step 1: Log in to your Eshopbox workspace.

  • Step 2: From the header, navigate to the header and select Orders > Process B2B orders.

You will be redirected to the Confirm B2B Orders page

  • Step 3: Click on Pack.

You will be redirected to the B2B boxes page.

  • Step 4: From the top pane, navigate to the right corner and click on the Create box. You will be redirected to the Create box page.

  • Step 5: Scan the tote in which you have kept the picked items. The corresponding picklist details will reflect on your screen. Press enter and click on OK.

  • Step 6: Click on Print to print the box ID and Submit. Paste the label on the box in which you will keep the picked items.

You will be redirected back to the B2B boxes page.

  • Step 7: Click on Created view and you will get the list of created boxes. Scan the tote with the picked items in the search bar. The corresponding picklist will reflect on your screen. Click on the Pack box.

  • Step 8: Click on Add to start packing.

You will be redirected to the Pack items page.

  • Step 9: Pick the item from the tote and scan the SKU (scannable identifier/item barcode)

    • For SKU-level traceability orders, once you scan a valid SKU, the system will automatically prompt the quantity being packed into the current box. Enter the quantity for that SKU:

      • Must be greater than 0
      • The entered quantity cannot exceed the remaining unpacked quantity.
      • Quantity is tied to the active box

After you submit, the quantity is added to the active box, and you can continue packing the next item.

    • For item-level traceability orders, continue scanning each unit individually (one scan per unit). Once all items for the box are packed, click Complete.

Note: For SKU-level traceability, you need to scan the scannable identifier. For item-level traceability, you need to scan the item barcode.

  • Step 10: Verify the list of packed items and click on Complete.

  • Step 11: Click on Print to print the packing slip.

  • Step 12: Paste the packing slip on the box and click on Submit.

Once you have packed the items, you need to move the packed items to the manifest staging area, to create a manifest for handing over the items to the courier partner. Learn more on how to manifest B2B orders.
