Cycle count is a process of verifying and reconciling physical inventory on shelves with recorded inventory in the system. This practice helps maintain accurate stock levels, identify discrepancies, and ensure that actual inventory matches expected quantities.
To perform a cycle count, you need to
Perform shelf transfer: This involves scanning each shelf and each item to remove the inventory from the scanned shelf.
Perform putaway: This involves scanning each shelf and each item to put the inventory back on the required shelf.
Note: You can perform cycle count only if your inventory is at the Item level.
