Configuring the Export to FTP app

Configuring the Export to FTP app allows you to automate the process of transferring data between Eshopbox and your ERP via the FTP server.

You can automate the inventory, consignments and sales order reports by configuring the app on your workspace.

This article will outline the tasks required to connect your ERP with Eshopbox through the FTP setup.

Before you start, make sure you have an

  • Active Eshopbox workspace

  • FTP/ SFTP server

To configure the Export to FTP app, you need to follow the below-given steps:

  • Step 1: From the header, navigate to Apps.

  • Step 2: You will be redirected to the Apps page. Click on Export to FTP app.

  • Step 3: You will be redirected to the Export to FTP app details page.

  • Step 4: Enter the following details.

    • Connection type: The protocol you are using for the file transfer, i.e. FTP or SFTP.

    • Hostname: It is the domain that resolves to the FTP that you want to connect.

    • Port: It is a number through which the FTP server listens to the connections

  • Step 5: Enter your credentials, i.e. the username and password, to connect with the FTP server.

  • Step 6: Click on Test Connection to verify whether the connection built is correct or not.

  • Step 7: Once the connection is built correctly, click on Save. The Export to FTP app will be configured on your Eshopbox workspace.
