Report a false return pickup attempt

Eshopbox makes three attempts to pickup a return from the customer. However, there might be certain scenarios when discrepancies may arise in the pickup process, such as

  • The courier claimed a pickup attempt was made, but the customer denies it.

  • The failed pickup remark shared by the courier for the pickup attempt made is incorrect.

What is a fake return pickup attempt?

Fake return pickup attempts happen when a courier falsely reports a non-pickup without even making an attempt to pick up the return. These deceitful practices can negatively impact the customer experience.

Reporting a false return pickup attempt

You can report a fake return pickup attempt from your Eshopbox workspace on behalf of the customer.

To do so, you need to follow the below-given steps:

  • Step 1: Log in to your workspace.

  • Step 2: From the header, navigate to Help > My Tickets.

  • Step 3: You will be redirected to the Tickets page. Click on Ask for Assistance.

  • Step 4: Select Shipping and Delivery > Report a false return pickup attempt.

  • Step 5: Enter the following details

    • Return Tracking ID: The unique order ID or Return Tracking ID assigned to the order.

    • Upload supporting evidence, such as a call recording or chat/email screenshot.

    • Mention the remark received from the customer (if any)

    • Additional remarks (if any)

  • Step 6: Click on Submit.

A ticket will be created. You can track the status of the ticket from the Tickets page.

Timeline to report a fake return pickup attempt

A fake return pickup attempt must be reported within 24 hours of the attempt being made. If a fake return pickup attempt is not recorded within 24 hours, the courier will cancel the pickup as no action was taken on it.

Resolving a reported fake return pickup attempt

Eshopbox will investigate a reported fake pickup attempt with the courier partner and inform the courier to reattempt the pickup.
