Managing return requests

Eshopbox provides multiple ways to create and manage return requests based on your business needs:

Customer-Initiated Returns

  • Customers can directly request a return through the Eshopbox Customer Portal. The return request is created automatically, and customers receive return instructions.

Manual Return Creation from Eshopbox Workspace

  • You can create a return manually on behalf of a customer via the Eshopbox workspace. This can also be done in bulk using CSV import (bulk import feature coming soon). Learn how to create returns manually.

Automate Returns via API

  • You can integrate the Eshopbox Create Return API to automate return creation from your system. There are two API-based workflows:

    • Create a return and assign tracking later – The return is created, and the tracking is updated when you want to get the pick up done. Learn more about the API.

    • Create a return and assign tracking immediately – The return is created, and a tracking ID is assigned in the same request. Learn more about the API.

Tracking return shipments

Once a return request is approved, Eshopbox provides real-time tracking updates:

  • You can track returns manually using your Eshopbox workspace.

  • For Integrated Websites: Return tracking updates are automatically synced.

  • For Non-Integrated Websites: You can do an integration and Eshopbox will trigger the real time status updates in form of webhook. Learn how to setup webhook for return status.
