Tracking and managing wallet transactions

Eshopbox workspace lets you track and manage all wallet activities, including spending, refunds, and recharges, while providing detailed transaction reports. Through the platform, you have complete control over the financial transactions with all wallet activity organized in a passbook.
In this article, you will learn how to view, search, and filter wallet transactions using Eshopbox passbook.

To view the Eshopbox passbook, you need to follow the below given steps:

  • Step 1: Login to your Eshopbox workspace.

  • Step 2: On the top right corner, navigate to Billing.

  • Step 3: You will be redirected to the Passbook page.

Viewing the passbook summary

On the Passbook page, you can view the following summaries of the passbook:

  • Credits summary: This displays the summary of the available credits in your workspace. The below details are visible here:

    • Available credits = Wallet balance + Reserved balance

      • Available credits: The total amount of Eshopbox credits available in your workspace.

      • Wallet balance: The funds currently available in your wallet for usage.

      • Reserved balance (coming soon): COD balance reserved due to insufficient wallet funds. These funds are released once you pay for unpaid transactions.

  • Transactions summary: This displays a summary of your transactions across spends, recharges, and refunds for the past 30 days.

    • Spends: Charges deducted from your wallet when using Eshopbox services. These include:

      • Shipping charges

      • Fulfilment fees

      • Subscription costs

      • Value-added services (WhatsApp fees, secure shipment fees and weight discrepancy fees)

    • Refunds: Money credited back to your wallet, including overcharged shipping fees, service failure refunds (when on-time delivery guarantees aren't met), and cancellation refunds (for orders cancelled after being marked as RTS).

    • Recharges: Wallet top-ups you initiate through UPI, card, or net banking to maintain your credit balance. This also includes payments made against unpaid invoices and Eshopbox credits added to your workspace.

    • All Transactions: Detailed overview of all wallet activities including spends, refunds, recharges and Eshopbox credits.

    • Other Transactions: Transactions that do not directly impact your wallet balance but are tracked for visibility, like:

      • Failed transactions: Unsuccessful recharge or payment attempts.

      • In progress transactions: Transactions being processed but not yet completed.

      • On hold transactions: Amounts temporarily held or released (hold/un-hold) from your wallet balance due to ongoing verification or other processing requirements.

Searching and filtering wallet transactions

  • To search for a specific transaction, you can enter the Order ID, AWB number, or Category in the search bar.

  • To further narrow down your search, you can use the following filters:

    • Date Range: View transactions for specific dates or time periods.

    • Sales Channel: Filter transactions by connected sales channels and marketplaces.

    • Transaction Type: Filter transactions by debits (money out) or credits (money in).

    • Category: Filter by transaction type: spends, refunds, recharges, or others.

    • Warehouse Location: View transactions for specific fulfilment locations.

Q.1 I want to check if my recharge was successful. What should I do?

After recharging, check the Passbook for the latest transaction under the Recharges category. Successful recharges will reflect immediately in your wallet balance.

Yes, you can filter all your Eshopbox credits-related transactions in the passbook.

  • To further narrow down your search related to credits, navigate to Passbook> All transactions.

  • In the sub-filters, under the category section, search for credits, and you can find the transactions for below categories:

    • Eshopbox credits

    • Expired Eshopbox credits

You can view the transactions for one or more credit categories based on your selection.
