Setting up printers

To print shipping labels, barcodes, picklists, manifests, and more, you need to set up and configure the default printers you prefer to use each time.

Once you have set up the printers, you can print the labels easily.

TSC printer: TTP-345

The TSC printer connects to your Windows or Mac computer by USB.

Steps to connect with Windows

To connect a TSC TTP-345 label printer to a Windows computer, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Unbox the printer and make sure you have all the necessary components (printer, power cable, USB cable, etc.).

    Assemble the printer according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  • Step 2: Visit the TSC website and download the latest driver for the TTP-345 that is compatible with your version of Windows.

    Install the driver by running the downloaded executable file.

  • Step 3: Plug the power cable into the printer and connect it to a power source.

    Connect the USB cable from the printer to an available USB port on your Windows computer.

  • Step 4: Turn on the printer.

  • Step 5: Go to the Windows Control Panel and open Devices and Printers.

    You will be redirected to add a new printer.

  • Step 6: Click on Add a printer or Add a device.

    Windows should automatically detect the connected TTP-345. If it doesn't, click on The printer that I want isn't listed.

  • Step 7: Choose to add a local printer or network printer. Select the port that corresponds to the USB port to which the printer is connected.

  • Step 8: Click Have Disk and navigate to the location where you installed the TTP-345 driver. Select the appropriate .inf file and click Open then OK.

  • Step 9: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

  • Step 10: Print a test page to ensure that the printer is installed and working correctly.

  • Step 11 (Optional): You can adjust settings like paper size, print quality, etc., by right-clicking on the printer in the Devices and Printers window and selecting Printing preferences.

    Install the driver by running the downloaded installer.

  • Step 5: Open System Preferences on your Mac.

  • Step 6: Click on Printers & Scanners.

  • Step 7: Click the + button to add a new printer.

  • Step 8: Your TTP-345 should appear in the list of available printers. If it doesn't, ensure the printer is powered on and connected properly.

  • Step 2: Visit the Zebra website and download the latest driver for the ZD420 that is compatible with your version of Windows.

    Connect the USB cable from the printer to an available USB port on your Windows computer.
