You would want to modify the selling price of your products from time to time on different sales channels. You can do this by providing Eshopbox with the updated selling prices of your products and then selecting the sales channels on which the price needs to be updated. Two pointers should be kept in mind:
Make sure Eshopbox is the seller of record for sales channels where the price needs to be updated
Products are listed on sales channels
In this article, you will learn
How to update your product selling price on different sales channels
How to track your pricing update status
Understanding failed pricing update status
Download your inventory from the Eshopbox workspace. This spreadsheet will include all the details of your products.
Once you have downloaded the inventory, you need to finalize the selling price of your products. Next, add a column in the spreadsheet titled 'selling price' and start filling up the updated selling price of your products.
Only fill up the prices of products for which you want the selling price to be updated. If you leave the column empty against a product, it will continue to be listed on the previous selling price.
Note: The selling price of your products should always be less than or equal to the MRP of your products.
Once your spreadsheet is ready, you can initiate a price update request through the selling price update form.
Few things to keep in mind while filling out the selling price update form:
Select the sales channel on which you want to update the prices
In case you want to update the selling price of your products for a specific duration, select the time duration for which you want to change your product prices. Time-bound price updates are only possible for Amazon and Myntra
Attach the spreadsheet with the finalized selling prices
Once you have submitted the pricing request, you will receive a request ID on your email to track the pricing status of your products.
Note: If you want to update different selling prices on different channels, you will have to re-initiate multiple selling price update requests.
You will receive email notifications from Eshopbox informing you about the pricing status of your products — whether the pricing update has been successfully implemented or whether the pricing update has failed.
Your pricing update request could fail due to the below-mentioned reasons:
Reason for failure | Next step |
Sales channel error | Eshopbox will re-submit the updated selling prices of your products to the sales channel. |
Breach of channel pricing guidelines | You need to re-initiate the selling price update request after taking corrective action. |
