Troubleshooting product availability on Amazon
Basic concepts you should know
This will help you understand how Amazon products are treated in Eshopbox.
Products
Product records need to exist in both Eshopbox and Amazon with matching and unique SKUs. Eshopbox will only manage product availability on Amazon and will not manage any other product information.
Variants
Each SKU is considered as a product in Eshopbox. Each product variant on Amazon will be treated as an individual product in Eshopbox. For example, a t-shirt with three colors (variants) in Amazon Prime will be considered as three products in Eshopbox.
Virtual kits
A virtual kit is a combination of products that are stored separately in the fulfilment center and are combined at the time of order processing. You can create a virtual kit in Eshopbox and make it available to Amazon by associating it with a matching Amazon listing.
How to make products available to Amazon?
Eshopbox allows you to make products available to Amazon. Products will be made available to Amazon if matching products are found in Eshopbox. You can make products available individually by following the below steps:
Log in to Amazon Seller Central
Ensure you have active listings in your Amazon seller account
Ensure you have selected the right Amazon fulfilment model for each listing, i.e. FBA or FBM. Learn here how to convert Amazon listings to Fulfiled by Amazon (FBA) or Fulfiled by Merchant (FBM).
From the header of the Eshopbox workspace, navigate to Inventory > All products.
Search the product using ESIN or SKU for which you want to manage the product availability.
Navigate to Availability
You can manage the product availability on the sales channel by toggling the button On or Off.
Toggle the button to make the product available to Amazon. If you have configured multiple locations, you will have to make the product available from each location.
Once you toggle the button 'on', you need to mention the ASIN, Amazon fulfilment model, and the SKU configured with your product listings on Amazon. The ASIN and the SKU can be easily found by navigating to your Amazon listings page as shown below:
If you have toggled the button 'off', this means the product will be made unavailable on the sales channel, i.e. the sales channel cannot read and track inventory updates of this product.
