Product listing is the process of uploading your products and their information on the sales channel. Successfully listing your products will make your products available to sell on the desired sales channel.
To get your products listed on a sales channel, you need to provide the necessary product information that can help customers make a purchase decision. Usually, product information comprises the product title, description, specification, images, and more.

Make sure Eshopbox is the seller of record for sales channels where products need to be listed.
Make sure sales channels on which products need to be listed are enabled on the Eshopbox workspace.
You have created the products to be listed in the Eshopbox workspace.
1.1) Fill in the master listing template specific to your product category.
A master listing template is a spreadsheet created by Eshopbox that has a collection of all the product attributes that are required on different sales channels to list your products.
Download the master listing template for the category you wish to list on sales channels from the links provided below:
Note: When you open the master template you will find detailed instructions along with each product attribute. Follow these instructions when filling out the master listing template.
Some things to keep in mind when filling out the product listing template:
Make sure you fill in all the mandatory fields
Always choose values from the dropdown in the listing template
Mention a minimum of 3 features of your product
Provide image links of all selected channels
Actual products should match the product images provided by you
Fill in accurate information for each field
Provide the manufacturer address with the pin code
1.2) Prepare the product images as per the channel-specific guidelines.
Different sales channels have different guidelines for product images. Raise the request to Eshopbox Support to get the channel-wise image guidelines.
Once you have prepared the product images as per the channel guidelines, you need to organize the images as per the following instructions:
(a) Sort images as per the sales channels.
(b) Within each sales channel folder you have to create subfolders of all the product variants in the format Product Code_Variant.
(c) Ensure that you include all the images of that respective product in the folder.
Once you have product information ready, initiate a request to list your products via the product listing request form. While filing the form, follow the given instructions:
Select the field "request type" depending on your use case as explained in the table below:
Request type | When to use |
Create new listing | The listings have to be created on the sales channel. |
Map with my existing listing | Product listings are already created on the sales channel and have to be linked with the Eshopbox seller account. |
Re-share listing | The product listings are rejected by Eshopbox or by the channel due to a breach of listing guidelines. |
Select sales channels on which you want to list your products.
Attach the master listing template on which you have filled in the product information.
Provide image links under the title 'Product Image Link(s)' via Wetransfer (Wetransfer is a data-sharing platform where users can share files up to 2Gb for free).
Submit your product listing request.
Note: Once you have submitted the listing request, you will receive a request ID on mail to track your listing status.
There are two ways of tracking the listing status using the request ID:
Track publishing status through emails
Search request ID on your email to check the publishing status of the products on all the selected channels.
Track the publishing status on the Eshopbox workspace
Navigate to the inventory tab on the Eshopbox workspace and search products using the request ID. You can now check the channel-wise publishing status of these products.
With each product, you will find one of the listing statuses as mentioned below:
In process: A listing request has been received and a channel-specific feed is being prepared by Eshopbox.
Awaiting at channel: Channel-specific feeds have been submitted to the sales channel and are waiting to be published.
Published: Products are listed on channels.
Failed: Products are rejected by Eshopbox or by channel due to the breach of the listing guidelines. For every failed status, you will get publishing errors and publishing notes.
Suppressed: Products are suppressed by Eshopbox or by channel due to the breach of the listing guidelines. To understand how to resolve suppressed status, read how to handle suppressed status.
No status: Product listing request has not been initiated.
Note: For every published product, you will get corresponding channel listing IDs. For example, Amazon codes are stated as ASIN (Amazon serial identification number), Flipkart codes are stated as LIDs (Listing IDs), and so on.
Once the products are listed, Eshopbox will make your products available to the sales channels on the Eshopbox workspace by relaying inventory. Making your products available means that the sales channel can read and track inventory updates.
The channel listing IDs are available for your perusal in the Eshopbox workspace. Your product listing request is completed once your products are made available.
