Configuring TataCliq with Eshopbox

This article will outline the tasks you need to perform to integrate TataCliq with Eshopbox.

Before you start

  1. Make sure you have an active Eshopbox workspace.

  2. Keep your TataCliq seller account credentials handy if you want to connect your own TataCliq account.

    Note: If you wish to use the Eshopbox seller of record service for connecting the TataCliq channel, you do not need the seller account credentials.

  3. Make sure your PackID is activated. In case your PackID is not activated, you need to drop a mail to your TataCliq POC requesting to activate the same.

How does integration work?

  • Inventory updates: Whenever there is a change in inventory levels on Eshopbox, the corresponding inventory quantities will be updated on TataCliq.

  • Fetch orders: Whenever an order is created on TataCliq, it will be fetched and created on the Eshopbox workspace.

  • Push order status updates: Whenever there is an update in the order status on the Eshopbox workspace, the corresponding status will be pushed on TataCliq.

  • Cancel orders: When an order is cancelled on TataCliq, it will be cancelled on the Eshopbox workspace.

  • Create returns: When a return is created on TataCliq, it will be created on the Eshopbox workspace.

Steps to configure TataCliq with Eshopbox

To integrate TataCliq with Eshopbox, follow these steps.

Step 1: Installing TataCliq

  • From the sidebar of your Eshopbox workspace, navigate to Apps.

  • On the Apps listing page, search TataCliq.

  • Click on the TataCliq app icon.

You will be redirected to the Apps detail page where you need to configure the TataCliq seller account with Eshopbox.

Step 2: Configuring TataCliq

On the Apps detail page, you will be able to view various steps that need to be completed in order to set up TataCliq with Eshopbox.

Step 2.1: Connect to the TataCliq seller account

  • Click on Connect to TataCliq Seller Account tab.

If you wish to connect your existing TataCliq seller account, then

You will be redirected to the next step if the connection is established successfully.

If the Seller code, username, or password is entered incorrectly, an error for invalid credentials will be displayed on the workspace. Therefore, you must cross-check the credentials and fill in the same again.

In case you do not have a TataCliq seller account you can:

  • Create your seller account by registering here.

  • Use Eshopbox’s seller of record service and connect TataCliq using the Eshopbox seller account.

    • To do so, click on Connect to Eshopbox’s TataCliq seller account.

    • A dialogue box will appear. Select the checkbox and click on Connect to Eshopbox TataCliq account.

    • Your Eshopbox workspace will be connected via Eshopbox’s TataCliq seller account.

Step 2.2: Configure your fulfilment locations

You need to enable the fulfilment locations which will be used to fulfil the TataCliq orders.

  • Click on the Choose fulfilment locations tab to view the list of Eshopbox fulfilment locations.

  • Toggle on the locations which you want to enable.

  • A dialogue box will appear. Enter the TataCliq Slave ID for the location and click on Save. Learn here how to find your Tata Cliq Slave ID.

Step 2.3: Build your product catalog

You need to map your existing TataCliq product catalog with Eshopbox. Mapping is done to ensure the product availability on TataCliq, corresponding to their availability on the Eshopbox workspace. Learn here how to manage product availability.

  • Click on the Build your product catalog tab.

  • Click on Next to map your product catalog.

Step 2.4: Set automation

Configuring the automation will help you easily streamline repetitive tasks and processes you want to automate for TataCliq.

Click on the Set automation tab to view the automation that can be configured. Eshopbox allows you to sync inventory, orders, and order updates in TataCliq.

2.4.1 Sync Inventory levels

Toggle the button 'on' to update TataCliq inventory quantities for inventory level changes in Eshopbox. Whenever there is a change in inventory levels in Eshopbox, the corresponding inventory quantities will be updated on TataCliq. In case of a stockout, inventory will be updated instantly.

If you have turned the automation 'on', then turning 'off' the automation will stop any further updates to the TataCliq stock. If you want to deactivate your listings from TataCliq, you will have to make your stock zero for those products from your TataCliq account.

2.4.2 Create new orders

Toggle the button 'on' to create a new order on Eshopbox whenever an order is placed on TataCliq. If you are using multiple Eshopbox fulfilment centres, TataCliq will decide which fulfilment centre will process the order.

Note: Tata Cliq orders with the status 'future Dispatch after date' or 'Onhold' will be put on Hold in Eshopbox. These orders will be processed only when the dispatch date expires or TataCliq updates the on-hold flag.

2.4.3 Cancel orders

Toggle the button ON to mark the orders as cancelled orders on Eshopbox automatically which are cancelled on TataCliq.

2.4.4 Create new Returns

Toggle the button ON to create returns automatically on your Eshopbox workspace whenever a return is created on TataCliq.

Once all the automation is done, click on Save.

On completing the above steps, the TataCliq seller account will be integrated with Eshopbox. You will see ‘Success’ mentioned in green near the TataCliq icon on the Apps page.
