Configuring your bank account and business details

In order to set up COD payments on your Eshopbox workspace, you need to configure your

  • Bank account details

  • Business details (KYC)

In this article, you will learn how to configure your bank and business details on your Eshopbox workspace.

Configuring your business details

To configure your business details, you need to follow the below-given steps:

  • Step 1: From the header, navigate to Settings.

  • Step 2: You will be redirected to the Settings page.

  • Step 3: Select Business details (KYC). You will be redirected to the Business details page.

  • Step 4: Select the Business type from the dropdown.

    • Company (Pvt. ltd)

    • Limited Liability Partnership

    • Sole Proprietorship

    • Individual

  • Step 5: Depending on the business type, you need to enter the following details.

    • Company (Pvt. ltd)

      • Legal business name

      • PAN (Permanent account number)

      • CIN (Company identification number)

      • Address

      • City

      • State

      • Pincode

      • Business phone number

    • Limited Liability Partnership

      • Legal business name

      • PAN (Permanent account number)

      • Limited liability partnership ID

      • Address

      • City

      • State

      • Pincode

      • Business phone number

    • Sole Proprietorship

      • Business name

      • PAN (Permanent account number)

      • Address

      • City

      • State

      • Pincode

      • Business phone number

    • Individual

      • Name

      • PAN

      • Date of birth

      • Address

      • City

      • State

      • Pincode

      • Phone number

  • Step 6: Once done, click on Submit. The business details will be added.

Notes
You cannot edit the business details once it is submitted. In case you wish to make any changes in the same, you need to reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Troubleshooting business details errors

There may be certain instances when your added business details might not get verified. Given below are the possible error messages and how to troubleshoot them.

  • Case 1: Invalid CIN

    Error message: Please enter a valid company identification number.

    Remedy: You need to enter the correct CIN and click on Review to verify the submitted CIN.

  • Case 2: Invalid Liability Partnership ID

    Error message: Please enter a valid liability partnership ID.

    Remedy: You need to enter the correct liability partnership ID and click on Review to verify the submitted ID.

  • Case 3: Invalid PAN

    Error message: Please enter a valid permanent account number

    Remedy: You need to enter the correct permanent account number and click on Review to verify the submitted PAN details.

Configuring your bank account details

To configure your bank details, you need to follow the below-given steps:

  • Step 1: From the header, navigate to Settings.

  • Step 2: You will be redirected to the Settings page. Click on Bank account details.

  • Step 3: You will be redirected to the Bank details page.

  • Step 4: Enter the following details

    • Bank account number

    • IFSC code

    • Bank account holder's name

  • Step 5: Click on Submit.

    • If the entered bank account number is valid, the system will verify it automatically.

    • If the bank account number is invalid, you will receive an error message. You need to re-enter the correct bank account details for verification.

  • Step 6: Once you have added your bank details, Eshopbox will deposit an amount of Rs. 2/- to verify the same.

    • If the transaction is successful, then your bank details will be verified and saved on your workspace.

    • If the transaction fails, then a mail will be triggered for the same, and you need to verify and re-enter the details.

  • Step 7: Once your bank account details are verified, you will receive an email confirming the successful verification. Your bank account details will be on your Eshopbox workspace.

Notes
If you wish to add a virtual bank account, you must raise a ticket to your Customer Success Manager with a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque.

Editing your Bank account details

You can edit your existing bank account details from your Eshopbox workspace. To do so,

  • Step 1: From the header, navigate to Settings.

  • Step 2: You will be redirected to the Setting page. Select Bank account details.

  • Step 3: You will be redirected to the Bank account details page. Click on Edit details.

  • Step 4: Update the necessary information and click on Submit. The bank details will be updated.
