You can calculate the time to deliver using the order delivery time filter as well.
Note: Depending on the selected filter, i.e. first delivery attempt or order delivery, the generated reports and the calculated data may vary.

Average time taken to deliver orders on the most frequent routes

From the header, navigate to Reports > Time to deliver. You will be redirected to the Time to Deliver dashboard.
On the top pane, you can find the following filters
First delivery attempt/ order delivery date: It is the date when the first attempt to deliver an order was made or the date when the order got delivered to the customer.
Shipping mode: It is the type of shipping used to deliver an order. You can use this filter to select the shipping mode as standard, express, or priority.
Zone: Zone refers to a geographical area to which an order is to be delivered. You can use this filter to select the delivery zone as local, zonal, national, metro, or remote.
Origin: It is the location from where the orders are dispatched. This displays the list of origin locations.
Destination: It is the location to which the orders are delivered. This displays the list of delivery locations.
What is your average time to deliver orders?
In this report, you can analyse the following:
Average time to deliver: This is the time interval between an order being created and dispatched.
Average transit time: This is the time interval between an order being dispatched and the first delivery attempt being made.
Note: This varies depending on the primary filter selected i.e. the first delivery attempt made on or the order delivered on.
Average time to ship: The time to ship is calculated as the difference between the order creation time and the first delivery attempt/ order delivered.
A summary of the data is also available along with the report for the deliveries made, orders delivered on time, late and overdue.
What is the distribution of order turnaround times?
You can analyze the order turnaround times based on the time to deliver, transit time, and time to ship.
What is the average time to deliver in each zone?
This report shows how long it takes for an order to be delivered in a particular shipping zone.
What is your average time to deliver on the most frequent routes?
The average time to deliver on the most frequent routes is calculated as the difference between the order creation time and the first delivery attempt/order delivered.
Note: The data for the ten most frequent routes will be visible by default. To view the complete list of routes and the corresponding details, you need to click on View All.
You can also export this report after applying the necessary filters for analysis. To do so, you need to click on Export.
A pop-up will appear on your screen. Click on Export.
