Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is the process of identifying and verifying your identity. Eshopbox needs you to do the KYC verification to receive COD payments for orders fulfilled using Eshopbox shipping.


How does KYC verification work?

You provide Eshopbox with documents that help identify and authenticate your company. Keep the following records handy during the KYC verification:

  • Registered GST number

  • PAN Card

  • A cancelled cheque for COD

  • Aadhar Card, Bank account statement, Passport, Driving license, Voter ID card (Any one of these)

Once you are ready with the documents mentioned above, you can initiate a request for KYC verification on the Eshopbox support messenger. Then, Eshopbox will send an email to you with the link to the KYC verification form.

Once you have completed the KYC verification form, you will receive a request ID on your email to track the verification status. Consequently, Eshopbox will verify the documents and notify you whether KYC is approved or rejected.

Case I: KYC is approved: If the KYC is approved, Eshopbox will remit your COD payments fortnightly or monthly after the order delivery.

Case II: KYC is rejected: If the KYC is rejected, you will be notified by Eshopbox of the reason for rejection. Re-initiate a request via the same link with the correct documents.

Eshopbox takes around 1-2 business days to complete the KYC verification.
