You need to create returns in Eshopbox for each order returned by the customer. This helps Eshopbox understand what items to expect at the fulfilment centres.

Draft returns are the returns that are received at Eshopbox fulfilment centres, but you have not created these returns on the Eshopbox workspace.

Eshopbox allows you a second opportunity to avoid return losses due to these draft returns. You can identify the draft returns and create these returns in Eshopbox within 24 hours or sales channel return processing SLA (whichever is lower).

Note: Eshopbox will only process draft returns if the returns have been created on the Eshopbox workspace within 24 hours.

How do I identify draft returns?

You can export and schedule draft return reports using the Eshopbox workspace. These reports will include all the relevant information about your draft return shipments like the portal, return shipping provider, fulfilment centre, gate pass ID, and more.

Exporting and scheduling draft return reports

From the sidebar of your Eshopbox workspace, navigate to ‘Orders’ and click on the ‘Export’ button in the top right of your screen. Follow the below steps to extract draft return reports:

Step 1: Select the type of report

Choose what type of report you wish to export. Eshopbox allows you to extract a detailed draft return report for your returns.

Step 2: Apply filters

Select the portals and the return window to organise your draft return report.

Step 3: Select fields

Simply select each field that you wish to see in the order report by clicking on the checkboxes. By default, all the fields should be selected. To understand each field in detail, check out the returns glossary

Step 5: Export the draft return report

Once you have selected all the fields, you can export the order report by clicking on the 'Export CSV' button. Alternatively, you can schedule order reports to be automatically sent on a periodic basis.

If you wish to schedule order reports, you need to follow the same steps as above and click on the 'Schedule report' button.

Here, you need to provide a unique name to your report and configure timings for the report to be sent to you.

Next, select the date range to classify your orders. You need to select at least one date range from the dropdown.

Now, you choose team members who will receive this report and click on 'Schedule report'

Note: Team members you wish to add must be added to your Eshopbox workspace.

Creating custom report templates

Eshopbox allows you to create a custom report template in case you wish to regularly receive your draft return report with specific attributes. To do this, export a draft return report and choose the attributes you wish to export using the checkboxes. Once, you are done click on 'Save template'. Now, you can access this draft return report template easily.
