You need to create returns for Amazon Prime so that Eshopbox can identify the returns that are expected at Eshopbox fulfilment centres.

In this article, you will learn:

  • How to get return information from Amazon Prime?

  • How to download the Eshopbox return template?

  • How to convert Amazon Prime return information to the Eshopbox return template?

Follow the below steps to create Amazon Prime returns in Eshopbox:

Step 1: Get return information from Amazon

You will receive your Amazon Prime return information at your primary email address registered with your Amazon Seller Central account. The return information is provided in an attachment file consisting of two sheets named Returns and Rejected.

  • Returns: This sheet consists of all customer-initiated returns (CIR)

  • Rejected: This sheet consists of all failed-delivery Returns (FDR)

Step 2: Download the Eshopbox return template

Once you have received the return information from Amazon, you need to download the Eshopbox return template by following the steps below:

  • From the sidebar of the workspace, navigate to Orders.

  • Click on the Import button in the top right corner of your screen

  • Select Create new returns.

  • Download the import report template. The template will include all the guidelines required to enter your return details.

Step 3: Convert return information to Eshopbox return template

You need to now fill in your Amazon Prime return details in the Eshopbox return template. While filling the template, you need to be aware of the terminologies used in both Amazon and Eshopbox.

The following table will help you to provide return details of Amazon in the return import template:

Step 4: Upload return template in Eshopbox

Once you have prepared the return template, you need to upload it into Eshopbox.

  • From the sidebar of the workspace, navigate to Orders.

  • Click on the ‘Import' button in the top right corner of your screen

  • Select Create new returns.

  • Click on the Add CSV button and select the file you wish to upload.

  • Click on Submit.

  • Once you have submitted the return template, you will be redirected to the
Eshopbox workspace home and you will be able to see that your import is in progress as shown:

Your Amazon Prime returns are now being created in Eshopbox.

Step 5: Track your returns

Once your return template has been imported into Eshopbox, you can track the status of your returns by navigating to the 'Files' tab from the sidebar of the Eshopbox workspace. Here, you will be able to see one of the following statuses for the returns that have been imported:

  • Returns created: This means that returns have been successfully imported into Eshopbox. For example, 200 returns created.

  • Returns failed: This means that returns could not be created in Eshopbox. This usually happens when there are errors while processing the return template. For example, 125 returns failed.

You need to take corrective action for these failed returns and re-upload the modified return template into Eshopbox. To understand how to handle failed returns, read troubleshooting return import.
