This article will outline the tasks that you need to complete to set up Flipkart with Eshopbox.

Before you start

  • Make sure you have an active Flipkart Seller account

  • Make sure you have an active Eshopbox workspace

  • Make sure products listed on Flipkart are created in Eshopbox

Setting up Flipkart with Eshopbox

Follow the below steps to set up Flipkart with Eshopbox:

Step 1: Install the Flipkart app

To begin with, you will need to install the Flipkart app in Eshopbox. Installing the Flipkart app allows Eshopbox to access your Flipkart seller account. Follow the below steps to install the Flipkart app in Eshopbox:

  • From the sidebar of the Eshopbox workspace, navigate to Apps

  • Click on the 'Flipkart app'

  • Click on the 'Install app' button.

  • Click on the 'Allow' button to authorise Eshopbox to access your Flipkart seller account

Now, Eshopbox will be able to access your Flipkart seller account.

Step 2: Connect your Flipkart seller panel

You need to connect your Flipkart seller account to the Eshopbox workspace. This means you are authorising Eshopbox to access your Flipkart seller account data, products, orders, and more.

  • Click on the 'Connect' button

  • Once you click on connect, you will be redirected to the Flipkart seller hub sign-in page

  • Sign in to Flipkart using your registered account details

  • On signing in successfully, you will be redirected to the Flipkart app on the Eshopbox workspace

You should be able to see Eshopbox and Flipkart account is connected successfully.

Step 3: Configure your fulfilment locations

You need to create locations in Flipkart and configure them with Eshopbox. This enables Eshopbox to allocate your Flipkart orders to the optimal Eshopbox fulfilment centre for order processing. This can be done by following the below steps:

  • First, you need to add Eshopbox fulfilment centre addresses as pick up locations in Flipkart. Learn how to add locations in Flipkart

  • Once you have added Eshopbox fulfilment centre locations on Flipkart, navigate to Eshopbox workspace > Flipkart app > Choose Eshopbox Fulfilment centre.

  • Toggle the button 'on' to associate the location created in Flipkart to Eshopbox fulfilment centre

  • You need to provide your Flipkart location ID. You can find your location ID by navigating to your Flipkart profile > Manage profile > Manage locations

  • Click on 'save'

  • Repeat this step for each fulfilment centre that you wish to use

Now, all your Flipkart orders will be routed to the Eshopbox fulfilment centres you have configured.

Step 4: Make your products available to Flipkart

Eshopbox allows you to manage the availability of your products on Flipkart. Making your products available to Flipkart means Eshopbox can relay product inventory and order status updates to Flipkart. You can make your products available either automatically or manually.

Option I: Manage product availability automatically

Toggle the button 'on' to allow Eshopbox to automatically make your products available on Flipkart. This means Flipkart products with matching SKUs in Eshopbox will be made available to Flipkart.

💡 Make sure the seller SKUs configured with Flipkart listings is the same as the SKU or additional names of the products created in Eshopbox.

Option II: Manage product availability manually

When the toggle is 'off', Eshopbox will not make your products available to Flipkart. This means you will need to manually make your products available to Flipkart. Follow the below steps to make your products available:

  • Navigate to Inventory > All Products.

  • Search the product using ESIN or SKU for which you want to manage the product availability.

  • Navigate to the availability tab from the detail page. Here you will be able to see all enabled sales channels, listing IDs and availability status.

  • Navigate to the Flipkart sales channel.

  • You can manage the status of availability on the sales channel by toggling the button 'on' or 'off'.

  • If you have toggled the button 'on', this means the product is available on the sales channel, i.e the sales channel can read and track inventory updates of this product.

  • If you have toggled the button 'off', this means the product is not available on the sales channel, i.e the sales channel cannot read and track inventory updates of this product.

💡 Making a product available to Flipkart from Eshopobox does not necessarily mean customers will be able to see your products. Product availability depends on multiple other factors like whether the product has adequate sellable inventory, whether the channel has delisted the product and more.

Step 6: Configure automation

Automation will help you easily streamline repetitive tasks and processes. Eshopbox allows you to sync inventory, orders and order updates automatically in Flipkart.

6.1 Sync inventory levels

Toggle this button 'on' to update inventory levels in Flipkart. Whenever there is a change in inventory levels in Eshopbox, then corresponding inventory quantities in Flipkart will be updated. In case of a stockout, inventory will be updated instantly.

If you choose to toggle the button off, then Eshopbox will not update inventory levels in Flipkart. In this case, you need to manage inventory levels manually in your Flipkart.

💡 Turning this automation 'off' will stop any further updates to Flipkart stock. If you want to stop selling on Flipkart, you will have to make your stock zero for all products on your Flipkart seller hub.

6.2 Create new orders

Toggle the button 'on' to create new orders in Eshopbox. This means if a new order is created in Flipkart, then the same order would be created in Eshopbox.

This automation requires you to select a specific start date from which you wish to start importing Flipkart orders. Select the start order date and click on 'save'.

💡 Flipkart orders with the status 'future dispatch after date' or 'On-hold' will be put on hold in Eshopbox. These orders will be processed if the dispatch date expires or if Flipkart updates the on-hold flag.

6.4 Cancel orders

Toggle the button 'on' to cancel orders in Eshopbox automatically. This means if an order is cancelled on Flipkart, then it will also be cancelled in Eshopbox.

If you choose to toggle the button 'off', then orders cancelled in Flipkart will not be cancelled in Eshopbox automatically. You will need to manually cancel orders in Eshopbox by contacting customer support.

💡 Orders which have been fulfiled cannot be cancelled in Eshopbox.
