From the sidebar of the Eshopbox workspace, navigate to Customer Portal > Manage the unexpected > Show customers a message when there is a delay in delivery or a pickup. Follow the below steps in order to set custom notifications to inform your customers about delays:
Step 1: Toggle the button 'on' allowing you to display customised notifications to your customers when there is a delay in deliveries or pickups.
Step 2: Enter the message you wish to display when there is a delay in delivery (max 200 characters. Your customers will be able to see this message when their order is delayed in transit.
Step 3: Enter the message you wish to display when there is a delay in pickup (max 200 characters). Your customer will be able to see this message when their return pickup has been delayed.
Step 4: Once you have completed all the above steps, click on 'Save'. All the changes will be reflected on your customer portal immediately. You can preview the changes on mobile and desktop by using the toggle function.
