You can easily organize and manage products in Eshopbox. In this article, you will learn how to search, filter, view products.
You can easily search for products in the search bar by any of the product attributes. For instance,
Product identifiers like ESIN, SKU, EAN etc.
Details like brand, vertical, title, M.R.P. or any other attribute provided at the time of creation.
Custom fields that are assigned to the product.
To view your products, navigate to the sidebar and select Inventory >All Products.
Each product on Eshopbox exhibits various attributes that describe them. When you select a product, you will be able to view the following information:
Title is a short description of the product.
ESIN (Eshopbox Serial Identification Number) is a product identifier that is auto-generated at the time of product creation.
Vertical to which the product belongs.
Product type to identify whether the SKU is a product or virtual kit.
Brand of the product.
SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a unique product identifier.
Product group code is an identifier assigned to a group of products or virtual kits.
M.R.P. is the maximum retail price of the product.
Sellable unit is the quantity of the product available for sale across all FCs.
Location is the number of fulfilment centres in which stock is available in sellable status.
Sales channel is the number of sales channels on which the product is available.
Additionally, you may click on the tabs at the bottom of each product to view more details about them.
Under this tab, you can view details of the stock of your products available in Eshopbox fulfilment centres. Here you'll see:
Fulfilment Centre: Name of FC’s in which the stock is available.
Sellable: Total inventory available for sale.
Non-sellable: Total inventory not available for sale.
Inward in progress: Total inventory count for which inward is in progress.
Outward in progress: Total inventory count for which outward is in progress.
Under this tab, you can view the configuration details of the products provided while creating them. Here you'll see:
Unit Price: Eshopbox will treat it as the insured price of the product.
HSN code and tax code: Used to calculate the tax amount when the product is invoiced.
Dimension: The length, width and height of the product are required to calculate storage as well as shipping charges.
Weight: The measured weight of the product is required to calculate storage as well as shipping charges.
You can view and manage the availability of the products on the sales channel. Here you'll see:
Sales channel: Lists of enabled sales channels.
Listing ID: It is a product identifier on the sales channel. It is used to sync orders and inventory.
Last inventory synced to the sales channel.
Inventory Logs: View the history of inventory sync on the sales channel for the last 15 days.
Status: Manage the availability of products on the sales channel.
ON: Your product is available on the sales channel.
OFF: Your product is unavailable on the sales channel.
Under this tab, you can view additional details about your products including custom fields. Here you'll see:
Product group code for grouping various products.
Aliases like EAN, GTIN, UPC or any other.
Vertical of the product
Title of the product
Custom fields that are assigned to the product.
Under this tab, you can view the actions performed on a product. Here you'll see:
who performed the action
what action was performed
when the action was performed
what was updated
If you click on show more, you will see more details about the activity.
You can filter through your products to search for specific details. Navigate to the sidebar and select Inventory >All Products. Next, select one or more filter options from the top bar.
You can filter your products using any product attribute. Additionally, you may also use the following pre-created filters.
Sales channel: Use this filter to view the list of products that are available or unavailable on any sales channel.
Location: Use this to filter products based on the inventory status and fulfilment centre.
More filters: Use this option to create a custom filter of your own. To do the same, follow the steps below,
Click on more filter
Select a suitable field from the dropdown.
Select a suitable condition from the dropdown.
Enter a value that validates your condition. In other words, if you select Is as the condition, that means the field needs to match the entered value. If you select Is not as the condition, that means the field selected should not match the entered value.
Note: You can also add more than one filter to narrow down your search using the And condition. Once the filters are applied, only the products that match all of the conditions will be displayed.
Save filters as views
You can save your filters as a view enabling you to use them again later. Once you've applied your filters, click on Save as view. Next, give it a name and click on save. Your custom filter will now be saved as a view. For example, you can create a view to check which product has sellable inventory but is not available on the sales channel. This will give you a specific list of products that matches the filter. You can save this as a view for future reference.
You can also filter products using the following pre-created views.
Sellable: It refers to those products whose inventory is available for sale.
Non-sellable: It refers to those products whose inventory is not available for sale.
Inward in progress: It refers to those products which are received at the Eshopbox fulfilment centre but are pending to be stocked.
Outward in progress: It refers to the products whose inventory is allocated to an order or a recall consignment.
Edit and delete view
You can also edit and delete a view as per your requirement. Click on the name of the view you want to edit then click on edit view. Next click on Save. In case you want to remove this view. Click on delete view.
Note: You cannot edit or delete pre-created views.
