Inventory is the quantity of a product that is available at the Eshopbox. Eshopbox workspace helps you in keeping track of inventory levels. Inventory of product changes when:
You deliver inventory for inward.
You recall inventory.
Eshopbox process order or return.
It will help you in identifying:
Total inventory available with Eshopbox.
Inventory available in various statuses.
Products that require replenishment.
Inventory is available only for base products and kits. For virtual kit, you’ll always see zero inventory. To check the inventory of the virtual kit, you can check the inventory of its components. In case, any one of the components is out of stock; the virtual kit will also be out of stock.
How inventory works
Below is the flowchart that will help you in understanding the inventory journey.
Here’s a quick breakdown of each of the steps outlined in the flowchart to represent the flow of order:
Eshopbox moves the inventory to inward in progress when:
- You deliver the consignment at the Eshopbox.
- Eshopbox process the returns.
Eshopbox moves the inventory to sellable when:
- Allocates shelf to quality accepted inventory.
- Mark returns as sellable.
Eshopbox moves the inventory to non-sellable when:
- Eshopbox allocates shelf to inventory for which it rejects quality check.
- Eshopbox marks return item non-sellable.
Eshopbox moves inventory to outward in progress when:
- Eshopbox received an order to fulfil.
- You create a recall consignment.
Eshopbox marks the product out of stock when:
- Eshopbox creates an invoice for the received order.
- You pick up the recall consignment.
Views can help to view inventory on the listing page. You can view the inventory for active products only.
Navigate to Inventory> All Products. You’ll be able to view the following views on the top of the widget.
Sellable: This view reflects the list of products whose inventory available for sale.
Non-sellable: This view reflects the list of products whose inventory is not available for sale. It is because Eshopbox rejected it during the inspection. The inspection could be during various activities at FC - receiving the consignment, receiving returns, etc.
Inward in progress: This view reflects the list of products whose inventory is inward in progress. It includes:
- Consignment items are pending for inward.
- Received returns yet to restock.
Outward in progress: This view reflects the list of products whose inventory is outward in progress. It includes:
- Orders items are pending to ship.
- Recall consignment items in the process.
Out of stock: This view reflects the product not available with Eshopbox in any of the statuses.
Further to this, you can also view the FC level bifurcation of the inventory is the stock tab. This will provide you insights on the FC level inventory available with Eshopbox.
Export inventory report
If you have many products, you would want to do some advanced analysis on this data set. You can export your products with the help of the 'Export' button on the top right. The export functionality is the same for both sections, i.e., all products and drafts.
Once you click on the export button, a popup will open. Now, select the report as per your requirement from the list. Below are the available reports:
Selected Product: You can export the report for those products that you selected on the listing page.
Product matching your current filter: You can export a report for the product which matches your current filter results.
All Products: You can export all the products on the listing page.
Now, you need to select the inventory columns, as shown below. The inventory report contains FC wise inventory for each product. In case inventory is available at multiple FC, inventory details of each FC will be available.

To download the file, navigate to Files > Export in the main pane. The file is available for the next 48 hours.
Scheduling a report can be an excellent way to make your reports even more useful. You might require an inventory report at the end of each day, week or month. You can schedule an inventory report using this option. On scheduling the report, the selected report gets generated automatically on the specified date and time. The generated report is sent to the respective person who has access to your Eshpbox workspace.
Before scheduling the report, you need to customize your report, as explained in the previous section. Click on schedule report checkbox. The pop screen will get extended with additional field details. You need to fill below details to schedule your report.
Name the report as you would like to call it. This helps to display existing information drawn from the report. The name should be clear and will help to distinguish the report from other scheduled reports. This is a mandatory field.
Set your report frequency to daily, weekly, or monthly. This is a mandatory field. The time interval for the report are:
Daily: You need to provide the designated time.
Weekly: You need to provide the designated time and day of the week.
Monthly: You need to provide the designated time and day of the month.
Set the date range of the reports. This can be selected based on created on the date and updated on date. The date range can be selected for today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month or last month. This is a mandatory field.
You can select any of the team members on Eshopbox workspace who can receive your report. Add more users to your account so that they can receive scheduled reports. Click more than one name to select multiple people from your user list.
Accessing your scheduled report
Navigate to Files > Export. Saved reports will appear here. You can now download your report and analyze it.
About your download file
Your downloaded file is only available in CSV format. Each line of the downloaded file represents a single product.
