When you are creating an inward consignment on Eshopbox, you need to share your inventory details using the inward template. If you do not edit the template correctly, you will receive errors while uploading it to the workspace.

  • Failed: Invalid file

    You will receive this error if,

    1. The template is not saved as a .csv file.

    2. Additional columns are added to the file.

    3. The mentioned column headers are renamed.

    4. An empty file has been uploaded.

    To troubleshoot this error, ensure that you have not added any additional columns, renamed the mentioned headers in the template or mistakenly uploaded an empty file. Follow the correct format for adding your inventory details and save the template as a .csv file.

  • Failed: The quantity cannot be less than zero. Make sure the value of the quantity is more than zero.

    You will receive this error if the values in the quantity column are less than or equal to 0.

    To troubleshoot this error, ensure that you have mentioned the quantity against each Product ID in the template and have saved the file in the right format before uploading it back on your workspace.

  • Failed: The quantity should always be numeric. Make sure you have not included any alphabets or special characters.

    You will receive this error if you enter alphabets or special symbols in the quantity column. Only numeric is accepted.

    To troubleshoot this error, ensure that you have added the quantity in numeric against each Product ID in the template and have saved the file in the right format before uploading it back on your workspace.

  • Failed: The Product ID does not exist on the Eshopbox workspace. Please create the product on the Eshopbox workspace and retry the consignment.

    You will receive this error if any value in the Product ID column is invalid.

    To troubleshoot this error, ensure that you have added valid Product ID's in the respective column in the template and have saved the file in the right format before uploading it back on your workspace.

  • Failed: The product is in the draft status on the Eshopbox workspace. The product should be in 'active' status. Please provide the necessary details of the product and retry the consignment.


    You will receive this error if the product is not active and is in draft status.
